On May 11, 2010 our lives changed forever. My husband, Frank, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer. I knew he would be gone within two years. What do you do when you know you will lose someone you love? We could not change our reality only how we responded to it. And so our journey began. We weathered our up and downhill battles with the endless support of our amazing family and friends to whom we are eternally grateful. Overall, Frank did well and we enjoyed our family time and traveled when we could.   In 2011, we participated in our first CT Challenge as a way of fighting back at cancer. What an amazing experience. Frank was so happy that he rode that day. We were now totally dedicated to the CT Challenge.   Sadly, we lost Frank in November 2011 after 18 courageous months. Seven months after Frank passed, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I gain strength and inspiration from the instructors and other survivors participating in the classes and activities offered. My life changed yet again, but in a positive way as a result of the Center for Survivorship.   This is our sixth year participating in the CT Challenge. Captain: Lisa Caramico
