Thanks to everyone who came out to ride, volunteer, and cheer!  You've raised over $1.1 million to support programs for cancer survivors and you're not done yet!  Share our gratitude for your efforts with your friends, family and supporters!

1110 riders and 342 volunteers, with 132 cancer survivors among them, came out to make the 8th CT Challenge Bike Ride our most memorable to date!   Over $1,018,544 has been raised to date and will continue through September 28th towards our $2MM goal. We are! 1064 riders, 98 teams, 133 cancer survivors and 333 volunteers will come together tomorrow for the 8th annual CT Challenge Bike Ride. Come on down and join in the fun! Fairfield County Hunt Club, 174 Long Lots Road, Westport CT. Rider and volunteer check-in begins at 6 am. Team photos from 6:30-7:20. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:30 sharp. Riders depart at 8 am.

Due to high demand, we are out of rental bikes. We are seeking another source but cannot guarantee one will be found.

This year marks Amy Nessel's 4th year riding in the CT Challenge bike ride, and her 3rd as a cancer survivor. Aimee, a triathlete who has run the New York City Marathon three times, will be riding the 100 miles of the CT Challenge this year, after a yearlong battle with breast cancer in 2009 gave new focus to her athletic pursuits. The Challenge is part of her training for a Half Ironman she is planning to complete in August. Together her team has raised almost $6,000 to support programs for cancer survivors!
