Road Warrior

Be A Road Warrior!

The Goal:

Raise $2,000,000

Impact 20,000 survivors

Road Warriors commit to raise a minimum of $3000!

Take the pledge that will get the CT Challenge to its goals – Become a “Road Warrior” today!

Road Warriors are fundraisers who enable the CT Challenge to ride that extra mile.

By raising $3,000 you are helping the CT Challenge help cancer survivors get the care and resources they need. Anyone can be a Road Warrior.

In fact, the average CT Challenge rider raises $1,300, well above their fundraising minimum. Take the pledge of setting higher goals for yourself.

Last year, 75 riders qualified as Road Warriors and raised $481,451!

How It Works

You can become a Road Warrior by:

  • Committing to raise a minimum of $3,000 during the registration process by selecting the “Road Warrior” version of the distance you’re riding.
  • Contacting Jon Stellwagen at jon@ctchallenge.org to change your status (if you are already registered) to Road Warrior, and thereby increasing your minimum fundraising commitment to $3,000
  • Signing the commitment form at the Friday night pasta party on July 26 and thereby increasing your minimum fundraising commitment to $3,000
  • Raising $3,000 in donations by the end of the fundraising period (Sept. 27)

Once committed, Road Warriors have until June 26 to change their status and fundraising commitment from Road Warrior back to that of a regular Rider. If Road Warriors do not change their status by that date, they are committed to raising a minimum of $3,000.  Status can only be changed be contacting jon@ctchallenge.org.

Benefits

Those who commit to Road Warrior status on or before June 26 will receive the following:

  • Road Warrior courtesy check-in on the morning of the event
  • Road Warrior recognition on CT Challenge website
  • Year-long Road Warrior recognition on donor wall at CT Challenge Center For Survivorship in Fairfield, CT
