Friday, July 27th

Opening Ceremony / BBQ / Rider Check In / Bike Drop Off

At the Fairfield County Hunt Club, 174 Long Lots Road, Westport, CT (Directions to the Hunt Club)

BBQ Details
  • Food wristbands required – pick up at wristband table
  • Riders you’re free but you must RSVP
  • Friends and family are welcome to the BBQ dinner but must buy a food ticket 
  • Riders are FREE (Includes BBQ)
  • Adults (14 yrs old and up): $20 (Includes BBQ) 
  • Children (13 yrs old & under): $8
  • Beer and wine available for guests 21 and over (ID Required)

Rider Check In/Bike Drop Off Details

  • Rider check in and last-minute safety check on your bike; technicians will be on hand for complimentary bike checks
  • Check your bike at the Hunt Club Friday night where it will be watched by overnight security and ready for pick up Saturday morning right next to the breakfast tent.

Saturday, July 28th

The Ride / Post-Ride Celebration

6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
At the Fairfield County Hunt Club, 174 Long Lots Road, Westport, CT (Directions to the Hunt Club)

Schedule of Events

6:00 AM to 7:30 AM
– Rider check in opens / Breakfast available
– Meet your teammates and organize your group for a team photo in front of the clubhouse (Photos taken 6:30 AM to 7:20 AM)
– Create an Honor Flag
– Get your CT Challenge stickers 

7:30 AM
All riders assemble in the starting area by distance 

7:35 to 7:45 AM
Bike safety remarks, a Salute to Survivors, the National Anthem and Butterfly Release

7:45 AM …and you’re off!
The Ride begins.. Safety at the start is our number one priority. . If you need more time, feel free to stay in back and start at the end. The order of riders departing is as follows:  (1) 100 mile (2) 75 mile (3) 50 mile (4) 25 mile (5) 10 mile. All routes will be released in waves to ensure riders do not bunch up in packs and are evenly spread out on the narrow roads of Fairfield County.

Post-Ride Festivities Details

  • A delicious lunch provided by Cinch, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  – Food wristbands required – non riders, pick up at wristband table 
  – Riders are FREE – you will receive wristband at post-ride check in (Includes BBQ)
  – Adults (14 yrs old and up): $20 (Includes BBQ)
  – Children (13 yrs old & under): $8 
  – Alcohol provided by Two Roads Brewery and Newman’s Own (ID Required)

  • Live music 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM, performances by:

   – Christian Lopez
   – The Hip Abduction
   – Band Together
   – Rick Reyes & the Cosmic Jibaros

  • Other Activities
    – Showers
    – Yard games and kids activities
    – Program/Center showcase
