Bike Ride for Cancer and Start a Team Today!

Start a Team Today!

Participating in the CT Challenge Charity Bike event is a great way to engage your employees, friends, family or neighborhood in an event that is inclusive, comfortable, safe, and emotionally rewarding.

For companies it’s the ultimate “Corporate Challenge.” The event has opportunities for young and old, riders, volunteers, and supporters, in a fun, outdoor summertime event.

The CT Challenge is more than the ride itself. The event features live bands and inspiring speakers, gourmet catered and specialty foods, games and crafts, and face painting for the kids. Riders can choose courses that range from a Kids Fun Ride, a 10-mile family-friendly shoreline ride, or other rides up to a more challenging 100-mile inland route.

Create a Team of Riders

Have a group that wants to ride in the CT Challenge? Create a team! Your team will enjoy the shared experience of riding and raising money to help cancer survivors rebuild their lives after treatment.

Teams can be from any group – Church, Company, Family, School, Community Organization, or Other. Company teams can include clients, employees & employee family/friends. Select your ride, then select Create a Team as your Role as team captain. Give your team a name, upload a logo or picture, set a collective fundraising commitment, and you are on your way.

Once You’ve Got a Team – Build It Out!

Make your team as successful as possible in hitting your fundraising commitments by promoting the ride to your employees, group, friends, or community.

Invite people in your network through social media; LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or wherever your group hangs out. Send an email or a text. Invite clients, friends, neighbors, church, synagogue, or club members. Let them know – you don’t know who will want to ride until you ask!

We will also speak to your group about the CT Challenge. Having a company all-hands or department meeting? Does your group have a regularly scheduled meeting? Want to host a backyard barbecue to help inspire and recruit your team? Let us know! We are happy to help and do a Zoom call or our staff will attend and support your meeting or event.
